Dogwoods are mostly known for their striking white and pink flowers that bloom during spring. However, these trees are alive and well in other seasons.

For example, dogwood trees attract more birds during the fall months. Some trees have crimson red fruits that grow on them and ripen. In addition, the leaves turn a deep crimson red or purple. Then in winter, like all trees, the leaves fall off. However, the beauty of the trees remains; their bark looks like volume, and their horizontal branches look graceful. Some berries may stay on the tree for some time during the winter.
